    CommentaireIl s’agit d’un manuel composite comprenant une grammaire italienne, œuvre de N. Duez, et des textes de diverse provenance. Les Dialogues, remaniés et amplifiés par Duez, la Comédie de la Moresse [de Giovanni Battista Calderari, Vicence, 1588], la Guirlande des Proverbes [d’Antonio Vignali, alias l’Arsiccio Intronato] se trouvent déjà dans la Schola ltalica de Catherinus Dulcis (cf. ce nom). Les Complimens Italiens sont tirés des Duelli di Complimenti d’Angelo Gabrieli : Duez en a fait un choix, les a remaniés et en a ajouté d’autres. Les Duelli de Complimenti avaient été traduits en français par Paul Burckhart (cf. ce nom).
    Dans l’édition de 1668, l’ouvrage est augmenté d’une nomenclature en 25 chapitres. L’édition genevoise de 1684 contient une nomenclature en 27 chapitres et d’autres additions, notamment un Traitté ... de la poésie italienne repris à Claude Lancelot (cf. ce nom) et un Rimario basé sur celui de Girolamo Ruscelli.
    Les Trè dialoghi familiari ont été démarqués par Pietro Paravicino (cf. ce nom).
